We offer after school outdoor adventure programs in the fall, winter, and spring that get kids outside and unplugged, challenges them in healthy ways, and guides them through self-exploration and personal growth.

If you love winter in Maine, this is your chance to learn some exciting new winter skills. And if you’re not so hot on the cold weather, try one of our winter programs - you are certain to warm up to the season.

Why Adventure with Sundog?
We believe the world is a better place when children have the opportunity to learn, grow, have fun, and adventure outside. Every young person in our region deserves access to meaningful outdoor experiences that build confidence, connection and belonging. Through affordable tuition and professional instruction with local guides, Sundog programs do just that. We connect our community by facilitating after-school and summer programs blending challenge, teamwork, reflection, and play, to ensure all kids have the opportunity to discover who they are and how they can positively impact our world, one muddy boot or dip of the paddle at a time!
Affordable Tuition
Outdoor adventure should be financially accessible for all. We rely on grants, donors, and fundraising events to lower our up front program costs by up to 80% in addition to offering unlimited self-selected financial aid and full scholarship opportunities.
Community-Minded
Our goal is to connect Sundog students to our community in a meaningful way. All of our programs are guided by local guiding services and in addition, we partner with like-minded local non-profits for service days that enhance our community and enrich lives. Through exposure, service, and conversation, our students develop tolerance, empathy, and compassion empowering them to know they too can make a difference.
